Mix tapes. Those 90-minute slices of heaven. Whether made by yourself or (ultimate score!) given to you by a significant other, a mix tape means something. It's a collection of songs frozen in a particular context, in a particular time...and you always remember the circumstances of the tape.

I am a mix tape junkie. I've made over 100 of them. The best ones are usually for other people, which sucks, but that's part of the deal with the mix tape.

So here's the thing. Send me the track listing for your favorite mix tape, complete with commentary, and I'll post it here. Kinda see and share what songs mean what to certain people.

I'll go first.

February - Whenever I sit down to write a movie, I make a mix tape as the soundtrack. It's an invaluable writing tool. This is a mix tape I made for a film that is in progress, and not only is it a great soundtrack, it's one of the best I've ever made.
